Article 98 of GDPR: Review of Other Union Legal Acts On Data Protection
Article 98 of GDPR clarifies that the Commission, when appropriate, must provide proposals to amend the European Union acts on data protection with the objective of achieving consistent and uniform protection of individuals.
The legislative amendment proposals should relate to data processing by EU institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and with respect to the free movement of data.
